Jackson Browne at Bethel Woods

An earlier rain event had lowered the temperature and humidity to a perfect level for an open air concert. The opening act could not attend, so Eddie and The Getaway took the stage at 7:30. The weather was perfect for an old dude. His voice was strong throughout, instrumentation was great, and of course, we were treated to all his great lyrical creations. My guest and I started to depart then to avoid any traffic issues (there were none) as he sang an encore. Back promptly at 9 and continued to 10. He performed through to 8:40 and took a 20-minute break. It was a memorable evening. If you missed it, you missed a good one. Other than the Eagles, this is the best concert I have enjoyed at this venue. The sound level was perfect.
